Privacy policy

What data we process and why

• Senders: email address, transfer title and message, IP address. We need them to provide the service (contract), to verify the email address with a code and to prevent abuse (legitimate interest and legal obligations).
• Files: we keep them only to deliver them to whoever receives the link, until they expire. We do not open or analyse them, except after an abuse report or at the request of an authority.
• Recipients: the email addresses entered by the sender, used only to send the link.
• Downloads: date, downloaded file, device type and a non-reversible hash of the IP address, to count downloads, enforce the download limit and show statistics to the sender (Pro).
• Account and Pro: email address, name, language, plan, Stripe identifiers and, for the download page, the logo and uploaded images. Payment data is processed by Stripe; we never see card numbers.

How long we keep it

Files are deleted when the link expires, or earlier if the sender deletes the transfer. Transfer data (email addresses, recipients, statistics) is kept for 12 months after expiry to handle reports and disputes, and is then deleted. Account data is kept for as long as the account exists; billing data for as long as the law requires.

Who we share it with

We use providers that process data on our behalf: Hostinger, with servers in Germany (website), Aruba, with servers in Italy (file storage), Studio 09’s mail server in Italy (email delivery), Stripe (payments). On the public pages of the site, Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, measures visits according to the choices you make in the cookie banner (see the cookie policy); it is not loaded on download and file request pages, in the personal area or at sign-in. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing, by writing to info@studio09.it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
